Dear Cox Family,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear wife/mother. Even though we haven't seen each other much over the years, I have the kindest thoughts and memories of her.
I know you will miss her dearly and wanted you to know that I'll be praying for you in these days ahead. The beautiful hymn called "Does Jesus Care?" talks about losing a loved one. The chorus answers the title question with the emphatic statement, "Yes, He cares, I KNOW he cares." It is at times like this that I'm reminded that Christianity is real, not just a Sunday exercise. I can't imagine facing all of the trials of life without the Lord's comfort, guidance, and strength.
Thankful for God's promises!

Just wanted you to know that Della was a very important person in my life as I grew in age and in the Lord. What fond memories of our families camping and all those Southview Christian programs! Still use Della's Peanut Butter Cookie receipe. Her kind words when my Mom died still rings in my ears. My love and prayers.

Our loss is surely heaven's gain! What a wonderful lady she was. I have so many memories of her, even as far back as when she was my Sunday School teacher. I also remember all of her wit and the wonderful and funny poetry she wrote. I still have the one she wrote when my Dad (Audley Conrath) broke a rib. What good friends you have been to me and my family, Orville; I shall miss her deeply. Do you suppose she's organized a Skip-Bo or Dirty Board game with Hillyards, Kittermans and Conrath's yet? With my prayers, love and deepest sympathy to all of you.
