Tony Eastridge

Tony Eugene Eastridge, 59, passed away on October 19th, 2019 at home. He was born in Des Moines, IA February 13, 1960. He spent almost his entire life residing in Altoona.

Tony graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1979. He worked with his brothers at Denmark marble, Wells Fargo, Joel’s Auto Repair and Summit Manufacturing.
Tony was a beloved son, brother, husband and father. Tony was a hardworking father and a man of few words. But when he did speak he would have you laughing until your sides hurt. His laughter could make the dreariest days have sunshine.

In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the races, watching football and NASCAR with the dogs. And the occasional afternoon nap in his hammock. He found a great love in fishing with his buddies, being outdoors and working on cars.

Tony is survived by his wife, Sherri; daughter, Madeline; mother, Wilma; as well as his four brothers, Denny (Jackie), Gary (Grazia), Mike (Shelly) and Jim (Angie); mother-in-law, Maxine Maggard; as well as his brother-in-law, Lance (Debbie) Maggard.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Bob; and father-in-law, Conrad Maggard.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Berean Assembly of God, 5299 East University Ave., Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of services on Saturday at the church.
