Sonny Elliott, 66, passed away October 13, 2019, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born in Des Moines on May 25, 1953, to Floyd and Kathleen Elliott.
Sonny most recently worked as a contractor. He enjoyed drag racing, and was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and hunting.
Sonny is survived by his siblings, Linda Beminio, Pam Elliott, and Don Elliott; many nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society in loving memory of Sonny.

He was my Dad's Uncle. I miss him so much. In his final days, I wish I could have told him how much I loved him. I will hold his memory forever in my heart. I love you, Sonny. I'll see you again, someday.

This is my father and to think the family kept my sister and I off the obituary shows how horrible things can get when a family member passes away
