Christopher Steinbach

Chris came into this world on Mother's Day, May 9, 1965, to Donald and Pauline Steinbach. He grew up in Des Moines and attended All Saints Catholic and North High Schools.

Chris was a concrete finisher by trade. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his two brothers and the loving attention given by his seven sisters.

Chris is survived by his Mother, his brother Alan (Alice) Steinbach, sisters, Kathy (Steve) Lee, Paulette (Larry) Ihrig, Cindy (Dan) McDonough, Caroline Buckroyd, Cheryl (Scott) Temple, Claudia (Mark) Van Der Sluis and Clarice Steinbach (Scott McPherson) and many nieces and nephews. In addition, Chris will be missed deeply by his longtime friend Kathryn O'Connor.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, brother Donnie, two infant sisters, brother-in-law, Scott Buckroyd, niece Bernadette Lee and nephew, Jonathan Lee.

A private burial is planned at Highland Memory Gardens.
