Carolina Corey

Carolina Furlin-Corey, 80, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at her residence in Des Moines. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 17 at Glendale Cemetery. Funeral procession will leave Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., at 1:30 PM to go to Glendale Cemetery.
Carolina was born June 23, 1926 in Numa, IA. She lived in Des Moines since 1943.
Carolina is survived by her daughter, Carla Jean Voshell; her son, Edward A. Corey; two grandsons, Darric and Denny Honnold and two great-grandsons; sister, Edith Furlin of Centerville, IA. Carolina was preceded in death by her husband Edward M. Corey in 2004.
