Irene Morris

Irene Mabel Morris, 63, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Irene was born July 15, 1945 in Maywood, Illinois. She worked as a secretary for the Veteran’s Hospital in Chicago where she retired in 1992. Irene moved to the Des Moines area in 1993 and enjoyed her kitty, Kristy.
Irene is survived by her husband, Richard Burton Morris; stepson, Richard Scott Morris; niece, Linda Van Cleave; and brother, William Mills.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Philhauser.
