Beverly Ann Turner, 49, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Taylor House. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Private family burial will be held at Glendale Cemetery.
Beverly was born May 28, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa.
Beverly is survived by her son, Orlando (fiancé, Paola Luna) Turner; daughter, Gloria Turner; mother, Jewel Turner; father, Thomas Howard; siblings, Darrett, Sean, Karen, Virgil and Sharon; grandchildren, Amaya and Orlando, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

I realize I am several years late adding this.
Beverly was such a sweetheart of a woman and had heart of gold. She loved me taking her to see the Madison County covered bridges.
We even carved our initials in one of the bridges.
I last seen Beverly in early 2009 and thought I had just lost track of her....I truly loved that beautiful woman

Dear The Turner Family,
I tried to remember back to my old friend of Iowa School for the Deaf growing up with Beverly Benson of 1977. I can picture her bright smile right now. Beverly was one of kind! She will truly be missed.
My thoughts & prayers are with the family.

Beverly was such a lively person... Always smiling. I will miss her very much. She was a very strong woman. Now she is at peace.

I miss you as much I cried and I remember you played with me volleyball and track at my deaf school. I love you as much. You missed two more monht will be 50 in May 2009. Love you and pray your family in my heart.

Bev was fun to be with. We had alot of good times at ISD. I'm sorry she gone. She will be missed. My condolences to Bev's family.
