My memories of Uncle Pat are from childhood when our families visited. Because of the distance between Iowa and Washington state we didn't see each other very often but when I think of Pat now I remember a huge bear of a man with a warm heart. Over the last few years we communicated over Facebook where his posts were always something that made me smile as we shared the exact same view points.
I wish I would have met him one last time.
My thoughts and condolences are with Pam and family.

This Sunday Pat & I would have known each other 46 years from being roommates at St. Louis Univ. I remember the good times we had & he inviting me to visit Burlington. Rest in peace, Pat, as I pray for you & your family.

I'm happy to have been a co-grandparent with Pat! His biggest smiles were when the Grands were in sight! He really lit up for them!
I'm going to miss trying to understand and then laughing at his unique since of humor.
Although, I wish it had been longer I Love that we are all family. Along with Pat, Pam and Stephen, you have been a joyful (No word good enough) addition to our clan!
