Donald "Don" A. York

Donald “Don” A. York, 67, passed away at his home July 29, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Carlisle City Park in the Log Cabin, N. 1st Street in Carlisle.

Don was born January 5, 1952 in New York. He attended Iowa State University. Don was an avid Iowa State Cyclone and New York Yankees fan. He built computers. Don loved golfing, fishing and playing games, especially cards and dice. He married Tabitha Harryman on August 30, 2007, after six years of dating. He loved his family. Don was always the wild and crazy one. He loved to dance and joke around with his family and close friends. They called him “Ducky”.

Don is survived by his wife, Tabitha; daughter, Montanna (Justin); granddaughters, Breanna and Izabella; sibings, Victor, Daryl (Della) and Doug; sister-in-law, Trudy (Mike); adopted son, TJ (Brandy); as well as many other extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother “mumzee”, Viola; brother, Junebug; and his best friend, Harry Conner, Sr.
