Dulces Flores-Estrada

Dulces Flores-Estrada, age 49, was born May 31, 1970 in La Joya Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dulces enjoyed being active outdoors. He liked going to the lake, walking, jogging, fishing, and dancing.

He is survived by his wife Eva Flores, mother Maria del Rosario Flores-Estrada, father Primitivo Flores, children: Angelica Flores, Alejandro Flores, Brenda Flores, Cristina Flores, grandson Liam Alexander Flores, siblings: Socorro Vela, Sabina Vargas, Rita Flores, Carmen Ortiz, Leonardo Flores, Guillermo Ortiz, godsons: Aaron Flores, Daniel Rios, nieces and nephews: Cindy Vela, Jasmine Vela, Humberto Vargas, Wendy Vargas, Andres Vargas, Tony Rios, Ivan Rios, David Ortiz, Jenny Ortiz, Pablo Flores and Yasuri Flores.

Dulces was preceded in death by his niece Jasmine Vela.

Services will be held at Our Lady of the Americas Parish, 1271 E 9th Street, Des Moines on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Dulces will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery.
