Julian Moreno

Julian Moreno, 51, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Julian was born July 4, 1957 in Phares, Texas to Francisca Ramos-Moreno. He worked for many years for the City of Des Moines. Julian enjoyed spending time with his family, long-time friends and his dog Sheba. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, joking with everyone and watching old John Wayne movies.
Julian is survived by his daughter, Angela Moreno; ex-wife, Karen Moreno; brothers, Arnold Moreno, Jesse Moreno, Leroy Moreno and Raul Moreno; sisters, Gloria Cisneros, Margarita Moreno, Rosemary Dozal and Frances Sorianos; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca Ramos-Moreno.
