Boua Lovan

Boua Lovan, age 76, died Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Boua was born in Sonla Vietnam to Boua Baccam and Phuc Lovan.

He enjoyed getting together with his friends and playing the organ. Boua also enjoyed photography. His biggest joy was spending time with his family, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be remembered for enjoying the simple things in life.

Boua is survived by his wife, Sone Baccam; children, Chanthavone (Ken Baccam) Lovan, Ashley “Nou” (Stan) Lovan, Vilakone “Kham” Lovan and Vilaivanh “Ta” Lovan; grandchildren, Allison and Kayla Lovan; sister, Nueang Lothi; many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 2:00 pm at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory gardens, 121 NW 60th, Des Moines Iowa.
