Doris Hutchison

Doris Hutchison, 87, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Graveside memorial services will be held at Earlham Cemetery at a later date.
Doris was born June 13, 1921 in London, England. She came to the United States in the late 40’s. Doris worked as a nurse’s aide at various nursing homes and at Veteran’s Hospital. She was a member of Indianola Friends Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Doris is survived by her children, Diane (John) Stanger and Patrick (Richard Holland) Hutchison; step-granddaughter, Michelle Stanger; brothers, Leslie (Margaret) Patey, Bill (Queenie) Patey and John (Pauline) Patey; sister, Eileen Roberts; and a host of other extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; and sisters, Marjorie Perkins and Dorothy McCelvin.
