Nina Slaton

Nina Slaton, 91, of Des Moines passed away on March 7, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4-6 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Nina is survived by her children Judy (Hank) Mouzakis of Des Moines, Jean McQuillan of Palm Springs, California, Euston (Lynn) Slaton of Des Moines, Joan (Bob) Snyder of Des Moines and Jan (Greg) Jackson of Des Moines, her grandchildren Tracy, Kris, Joshua, Abby, Amanda, Timothy, Danielle, Patrick and Franklin as well as her great grandchildren Danielle, Elizabeth, Samantha, Bryce, Joshua and Caden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa Department for the Blind.
