Delila Voshell

Delila Marie Voshell, 75, of Des Moines passed away on March 5, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Dee was born August 8, 1933. She was a 1950 graduate of Tech High School and was married to her husband Bob for 58 years. Dee worked for 34 years with the Des Moines school district rising to payroll director for the district. Dee traveled the country with Bob teaching dance and making friends from shore to shore. She is survived by her husband Bob, three sons Terry (Joan), Rick and Mike (Carla), sister Jo Soucie of Dallas, Texas, four grandchildren Shane, Melissa, Burgess, Madison and great grandchild Aurora. With her love for dancing and camping Dee touched many hearts.
