Doris Peterson

Doris Peterson, 95, was born March 26, 1913 to Margaritte and Carl Christenson in Latimer, Iowa. She passed away February 21, 2009 at Sunny View Care Center.
Doris enjoyed playing bingo and volunteered for many projects.
Doris is survived by sons, Jack (Gail) Peterson, Denny (Gerri) Peterson; daughter, Deb (Ron) Smith; four grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Husbands, Harold (Pete) Peterson and Lloyd Allen; grandchild, Inger Arnold and great-grandchild, Buddy Arnold.
Funeral services will be held at time 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice and Ankeny Christian Church Disciples of Christ in loving memory of Doris.
