George Smith

George L. Smith, 64, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
George was born April 25, 1944 in Des Moines to Loyal and Dortha (Linn) Smith. He was a book binder for Quebecor World until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and model trains.
George is survived by his wife, Teresa; sons, Eric Smith and Shane Michael; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
