Service Details
George Heaberlin, Jr., 64, died at his home Friday, February 20, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Pleasantville Cemetery Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
George was born February 4, 1945 to George Sr. and Helen (Burt) Heaberlin in Knoxville, IA. He was an auto body repairman and loved cars, especially his 1955 Ford pickup truck. George was a member of the Good Guy Club.
George is survived by his wife, Amy; daughter, Jody (Kevin) O’Neal; son, Paul (Jessica) Heaberlin; brother, Larry (Barb) Heaberlin; sister, Betty (John) Wilke; mother, Helen Heaberlin; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Heaberlin, Sr.

Amy,
I want you to know how much I enjoyed knowing George. He was a good man with a big heart. I am so glad that he was home with his family and his dogs when he was called by the Lord. My prayers are with you and your kids.
