Dear Linda and Family,
Please accept our very deepest sympathy with this email, as we are in Mexico & can't attend the services. Our hearts were truly broken when we heard the news of Don's passing. He was such a fun guy to work with. I'll never forget the day 22 years ago when I was on maternity leave with my youngest daughter Mallory. I proudly brought her up to the 6th floor where we worked & Don couldn't wait to hold her. With some hesitation, I gave him the precious bundle. He coo'ed and chuckled at her for a moment and then, to my horror, he lifted her one-handed above his head & started swooping her around like a little airplane. "What are you doing?" I screamed at him. He just laughed and said, "I did this all the time to my kids. They loved it!". Well Don, we all loved you too. Rest in Peace.
With sincere respect,
Deb Bishop and Jeannine McDaniel

I was saddened to hear that Don passed away. As a cousin I was able to spend some fun time with "Donnie" when we were little kids particularly at Woman Lake on the beach with Don, Dave, and Jan. We were able to connect a couple of times in the last few years at my mother's birthday gathering and also at Barb's funeral service. I recall he was excited about living up north and building a home. We all hold special memories in our hearts and I pray that each of you will be able to do that. My special memory is walking on the sand beach at Woman Lake with our fishing poles on a "great adventure". Blessings to you, Evelyn and Bernie Lewiston, West Bend, IA
