Ray Presti

Ray Presti, 64, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway.
Ray was born August 15, 1944 in Vandergrift, PA. He served in the Air Force and attended Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Academy and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. After he moved to Iowa, he was a police officer in Waukee, a deputy for Dallas County, and Chief of Police for Granger. He retired in 2006 after 21 years as owner of Presti & Presti Investigations.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Stephen (Elizabeth) Winders and Susan (Terry) Williams; grandchildren, Staci (Ashley) Lariviere, Lindsey Winders, Kaitlyn Winders, and Grace Winders. Ray loved his family and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two nephews.

Barb, I can not express how empty I feel with the loss of my good friend Ray. Although I'm states away You and Ray will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss Rays emails but will always remember the good times we had back in PA. God Bless you and wish you the best.
