Im very sorry for your loss. We can find comfort in the Bible at
Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

A piece of my soul was torn out when I got the news about John.
I have known John since grade school He and I were best friend all through Junior High and High school. After High School John and I rented a home together on the North side of Des Moines during the summer of 82. John was with me the day I met my wife. He and I had a long deep conversation that next night and convince me to pursue a relationship with this girl I met. 37 years later we are still married. There are so many stories I could tell about John. He was so fun to be with. He always had a kind word. And his happy go lucky attitude was infectious. Every time we would talk he would get me up to speed on the love of his life Amanda his daughter. He was always proud of her unconditionally.
