Sheryl (Young) Nutter, 70, passed away on June 23, 2019 at her home.
Sheryl was born November 15, 1948 in Pleasantville, Iowa to Raymond and Norma (Calhoun) Young. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966. During her lifetime she spent many years as a stay at home parent, and also worked at Goodwill and The Salvation Army. She worked at Crest Group Homes for several years until she retired. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, always finding time to play board games and show them scary movies.
Sheryl is survived by her daughter, Brandyn Nutter-Gracey (Jeremy Gracey), grandchildren, Julian and Ariel, her brother Ronald Young.
She is preceded in death by her husband Timothy and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Swan Cemetery in Swan, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital.

With much sadness we have lost one of the brightest lights in our life. I will always have some of the best memories of my life, thanks to Aunt Sheryl. We miss her greatly, and want to say that she is remembered forever. You are in our prayers Brandy and we will always be here for you. With love from all of us.
