Lucille Froah

Lucille May “Lucy” Froah, left a loving family, but not forgotten on Valentine’s Day. Lucy was 89 years old. She was in the care of her daughter, Patricia L. Collins. In addition to her daughter, Lucy will be forever remembered by Pat’s companion, Walter L. Swenson; three grandchildren, Karla R. Anderson, Vince J. Collins and Kelly C. Collins. There are six great-grandkids, Rusty D.O. Anderson, Ryan A. Anderson, Danielle Collins, Adam Collins, Kaitlin Cortez and Conrad Collins, and one great-great-grandchild, Brianna Anderson. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Froah (retired, Meredith Publishing Co.) and a son, Richard Froah.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Union Park Presbyterian Church, 1307 Thompson Avenue, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Our deepest thank you to the Iowa Hospice Team who are angels on earth.
