Lydia Ann Beebe, age 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17, 2019, surrounded by her family and friends. Lydia was born the daughter of Charles L. and Sadie (Wheeler) Beebe, Jr., on March 18, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lydia enjoyed fishing and was especially known for her legendary home style cooking. She will be remembered most for her loving, caring, giving life. If wealth was measured by how much you helped others she would be the richest person around. Above everything, Lydia loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and baby that’s a lot!

She is survived by her two children, Dennis Lee Woosley and daughter, Kelly Jo Housh; three grandchildren, Colby Ryan Housh, Slydney Elaine Housh and James Woosley; two great-grandchildren; and nine siblings.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Calvin Modlin.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church, 314 E Army Post Rd, Des Moines.
