Rick W. Stoneburner

Rick Stoneburner, 70, was born March 23, 1949 in Boone, the son of Lloyd and Delores (Gerken) Stoneburner. He passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2019 at UnityPoint Taylor Hospice House.

Rick was a loving man and a great friend to all he met. He enjoyed gardening, animals and spending time with his friends. He was a “hippie at heart” and moved to San Francisco in 1968, living out there many years before eventually returning to his home roots of Iowa.

Rick will lovingly be remembered by his special friends, Carolyn, Doug and Bridget.

Per his wishes, cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Rick.
