Harold F. Lundberg, formerly of Des Moines, 59, died Friday, February 13, 2009 at Pocahontas Community Hospital. Services are planned for a later date.
Harold was born October 25, 1949 to Forrest and Lillie Lundberg in Des Moines. He graduated from Des Moines Technical High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He earned a Purple Heart after being wounded and returned a disabled veteran. Harold maintained his sense of humor throughout his life’s struggles.
Harold is survived by his sister, Diane (Nicole Maakestad) Lundberg; and aunt, Lois Wistenberg. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Lundberg; and sister, Lois Corbin.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We were lucky enough to have Harold and Barb as friends. He was such an amazing man with so much kindness and integrity. Such an honor to have had him in our life. Prayers & condolences to the family during these difficult times of such a great loss.
