Robert E. "Bob" Thomas of Des Moines, passed away on the 12th of February in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 56.
He was born on April 2, 1952 in Liberty, MO to Fred and Betty Thomas. He loved hunting, fishing, and finding great antique deals at auctions.
He loved and was loved dearly by his daughter, Samantha Thomas, and his two step-daughters, Stephanie Stoltenberg and Staci Doumas.
He is also suvived by immediate family, Linda Thomas, Janice Shinneman, Pricilla Lafferty, Dick Thomas and their famalies. He also leaves behind countless friends that shared and brought joy to his life.
A memorial service will be held at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines, Iowa February 21, at 1:00p.m.

To Priscilla and all of Bob's family - I was saddened to hear today of Bob's passing. My brother, Rod, notified me, and thinking of Bob and Priscilla brought back such good memories of our childhoods in Norwalk. Priscilla, I hope you're doing well and please know I'm thinking of you in this sad time. You were a wonderful friend whom I will never forget, and I look forward to seeing you in the future. Our deepest sympathy to your family for this great loss. Bob and I were friends in high school. he use to give me a ride home everyday one day he brought a friend from Dowling to introduce me to. That was 40 years ago this week and I've been married to that friend for 35 years. I will always be greatful to Bob for that introduction that gave us a life of much love and happiness. He will always be remembered and loved by us.

My prayers are with the family.. Bob was always so kind. He would call and speak to my mom for hours. If I know Bob he is talking to my mom right now about politics, and the world..
