Dustin Harter, 14, passed away February 11, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
Dustin was a student at Brody Jr. High where he enjoyed playing in the band. He also enjoyed skate boarding and music and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Angel (Eric) Riley; father, Brandon Harter; brothers, Devin Harter and Tommy Riley; sister, Erica Riley; grandparents, Virginia and Russ Carter, Lenard Fusari, Jerry and Carol Harter and Michael and Joyce Riley; and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ramona Harter.

Brandon, Angel and Families - Please know that our hearts and our prayers are with you during this time. We haven't the words to offer to you during your time of loss however our prayers and our thoughts will be with you. We pray for you all. We know that Dustin is in Heaven watching over all of you. Angel and Family,
I just learned about Dustin tonight and I am so sorry that I did not know sooner and that I will not be there physically to support you at this terrible time. Know that I can't say the right words to make you and your family feel any better but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
My stepdaughter, Chella, knew Dustin and I have met him several times at Southtown Pool. She is very sad as many others are about this unfortunate situation.
I hope knowing that the community is thinking of you and praying for you will atleast provde you comfort.

Eric and Angel, I am so sorry to hear about your son. I worry about all young kids now with the feelings that they have about trying to find themselves. My daughter, Brianna was friends with Dustin. I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose anyone you love but to lose a child is the greatest of losses. Your family is in my families prayers.
