Alyssa Rose Abel, was stillborn at Mercy Medical Center on February 6, 2009
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Rising Sun Church of Christ in Pleasant Hill with burial to follow at Rising Sun Cemetery.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Ivan and Jessica Abel of Perry. In addition to her parents, Alyssa is survived by her grandparents, Ted and Shanda Abel, Gary and Joan Hoard, Roseanne and Darol Carter and Sherry Townsley; aunts and uncles, Luther (Jennie) Abel, Dulcie Abel, Afton Abel, Savannah Abel, Angela (Cory) Holloway, Jennifer (Mike) Overton, Shannon Hoard, Kevin Hoard, Kate (Chad) Sorensen and Jessica (Zeke) Tiemeyer; 11 cousins; great-grandparents, Alberta Abel, Woodrow Hoard, Rose (Nathan) Taylor, Mary (Bill) Journey and Jane Martell. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Fred W. Abel; maternal great-grandmother, Geraldine “Geri” Hoard; paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Rose Ella Palfi; and maternal great-grandfather, Jerry Beard.
