Donald Disbrow, Jr.

Donald “Diz” Disbrow, Jr. passed away January 11, 2007 due to complications of pneumonia. Diz was surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Diz was a union painter for many years and retired from Jarnigans. He was an avid sports fan especially of the New York Yankees, Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears and the EHS softball team. His life revolved around his nieces and nephews from watching them play softball and baseball to just spending time with them.
Diz is survived by his sisters, Dena Young of Pleasant Hill and Denise Blakeman of Des Moines; sons, Trey and Jason, three nieces, two nephews, three great nieces, eight great nephews and many close family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Disbrow; father, Donald Disbrow, Sr. and his grandparents.
