Wilma Brown

Wilma B. Brown, 85, was born September 9, 1923 in Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of Ollie and Stella (Snodgrass) Wright. She passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Union Park Health Services. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines.
Wilma is survived by her children, Marion Brown, Austin (Deb) Brown, Bernard (Diana) Brown and Nancy (Damir) Dzinic; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marion E. Brown; her infant son, Merle Brown; her grandson, James Brown and her parents.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Park Health Services in loving memory of Wilma.
