Richard Jones

Richard W. Jones, 86, died Thursday, January 11, 2006 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Richard was born December 7, 1920. He was served in the Army during WWII. Richard was a retired brick layer with Elview Construction.
Richard is survived by his son, Jack (Terri) Jones; brother, Jerry (Dixie) Jones; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and son, Dennis.
