Sharon Green

Sharon Green, 53, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Church of God in Christ, 1639 E. University followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Sharon was born August 22, 1955 in Des Moines to Elehue and Pauline (Benton) Green. She most recently worked for Goodwill Industries as a housekeeper. Sharon enjoyed reading, playing BINGO and spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Pauline; brothers, James (Donna) Green, Eugene Green, Sylvester Green, Tyrone Green, Noble Green, Timothy Green and Daniel Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Elehue and sister, Joyce.
