I never worked with Karen but I saw how much she was loved and respected by her co-workers. My husband always spoked highly of her. I enjoyed our conversations at events that I attended with Lad. She was always a lady. This is a great loss to her family and her friends. My prayers are said for her family.

Bob and Family,
I know that no one needs to tell you what a great person Karon was, but from someone who worked with her I want you to know how she was valued by us too.
Karon was dedicated to her job at the police department. All the way from working in the dispatch office to being a secretary in the vice and narcotics section. She was a pleasure to work with -always pleasant, she was reliable, she was more than competent and she was very trustworthy. Every positive adjective you can think of applied to Karon. She was truly one of the crown jewels of the DMPD.
She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
My sympathy and best wishes are extended to you all.
Dave Brown (retired DMPD)
