Debra K. Ramsey

Debra Kay Ramsey, age 63, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Debbie was born October 23, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was loved by so many people. She was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents, Barb and Clayton Smith and sister, Sue Smith. She is survived by her husband, Rex Ramsey; sons, Justin (Amanda) Ramsey and Jason (Michelle) Ramsey; five grandchildren: Devon, Allison, Alex, Abby and Dylan Ramsey; step-grandchild, Dylan Lampman; and a host of other family and friends. Debbie was a loving women who enjoyed spending all her time with her grandkids, and collecting Elvis. She will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. There will be a graveside service immediately following at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orilla, Iowa. Please join the family for a lunch following burial at Wolf Creek Clubhouse, 3205 Wolf Creek Road in Bondurant.
