Jacqueline R. Jenkins

Mrs. Jacqueline Rena Jenkins, age 59, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May 3, 2019.

Jacqueline was born July 31, 1959 in Eudora, Arkansas. She was a member of New Birth Missionary Church. She loved her family above all else. She enjoyed a good conversation, reading fiction, watching her shows, and cooking.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 42 years, Toney Jenkins; children, Sherrice (Andrew) Turner, Antoine (Ana) Jenkins, and Bryan (Amy) Jenkins; grandchildren, Korie Daughtery, Drea Turner, Elijah Turner, Phoenix Jenkins, Daija Jenkins, Rayna Jenkins, and Braylon Jenkins; brothers, Samuel (Jo) Johnson, Bernard Weston, and Terry (Nicole) Weston; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Marie and her brother, Raymond Johnson.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines at 1:00 p.m. Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service.
