Carl Bordenaro

Carl “Butch” Bordenaro, Jr., 65, died Thursday, January 23, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. His body has been cremated and a dinner in his honor will be held on January 29, 2009 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Birdland Shelter House, 2100 Saylor Rd.
Butch was born October 19, 1943 in Des Moines to Carl Sr. and Helen Bordenaro. He was retired and enjoyed fishing and boating.
Butch is survived by his life long companion, Lillian Beaman; daughter, Teresa (Alvin) Luna; son, Carl Bordenaro III; step-children, Becky (Ron) Streeter, Dennis (Kelly) Beaman, Ricky Beaman, Jackie Beaman and Robert (Cathy) Beaman; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara Folsom and Donna Swartz; best buddies, Steve (Judy) Cardis and Kenny Gilliam; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a step-daughter.
