Dorothy Hill

Dorothy L. Hill, 87, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Mercy Hospice- Johnston.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dorothy Borg Hill was born January 20, 1919 to Leonard and Gladys Borg in Des Moines, Iowa. She was an active life long member of Union Park United Methodist Church and had lived at Valley View Village since 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Jack) Davidson of Ankeny; son, Roger (Dee) Hill of Bettendorf; three grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Miller; brother, Robert Borg; and her beloved husband, Harold R. Hill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Park United Methodist Church or Mercy Hospice-Johnston.
