Robert Moulton

Robert D. Moulton, 83, was born April 26, 1925 to Harry and Daisy Moulton in Udell, Iowa. He passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa.
He worked for the Norfolk/Western Railroad until his retirement in 1975. He enjoyed making candles and loved watching his grandchildren in their sporting events.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Dorothy Moulton; his daughter, Cindy Jennings; sons, Danny Moulton, Stephen Moulton; his sisters, Ruby Ballew and Betty Spurgeon; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Stanley Moulton; a granddaughter; four brothers and four sisters.
A visitation with family present will be from 4 – 6 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Ankeny Baptist Church, 2842 SW 3rd Street, Ankeny, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens
