Laurel Ramey

Laurel Rae Ramey, 86, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Taylor House Hospice. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Laurel was born November 13, 1922 in Des Moines. She enjoyed singing, dancing, knitting and playing the chord organ but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Laurel is survived by her daughter, Jeannine Ramey; son, Lee (Sarah) Ramey; grandsons, Jason, Justin and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Elena and Julia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester.
Memorial contributions may be made to Taylor House Hospice.
