Michael D. McCoy

Michael O. McCoy, 61, died Saturday January 17, 2009 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 23, 2009 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Michael was born October 6, 1947 in Humeston, Iowa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Michael had worked as a cook at the Golden Harvest and Ken’s Maid-Rite. He most recently worked as part of the shelter staff for Churches United. Michael enjoyed fishing and computer games.
Michael is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Michael Meyers; five step children; three grandchildren; five step grandchildren; brother, Kenny McCoy; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
