Genevieve Irene Juline, 101, died January 14, 2009 at Trinity Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place on Tuesday at Lincoln Cemetery near Knoxville.
Genevieve was born September 10, 1907 in Marion County to Paul and Bea Wagner. She taught in a one room school in Marion County and later in life became a beautician and had her own beauty shop for many years. Genevieve was a member of Union Park United Methodist Church and Knoxville Women’s Farm Bureau.
Genevieve is survived by her children, Patricia (Richard) Rose, Harriett (Richard) Hall and Sally Purdy; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard; husband, Earl; and son-in-law, Arthur Purdy.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Park United Methodist Church.

I have so many precious memories of visiting in the Juline home as I was growing up. Mrs. Juline was always so much fun to be around, and there was always laughter in her house. She would giggle right along with us teenagers, and her beauty shop was a very special place to be when getting ready for a special occasion or a big date. You are blessed to have had her with you for such a long time. I know you are at peace knowing she is also at peace.
