Service Details
Charles F. Cotten, 75, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at Taylor House Hospice. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Charlie was born February 1, 1933 to Dudley and Lucy Cotten. He was an honest and hard working person, always willing to go the extra mile. Charlie enjoyed reading, remote control airplanes, rebuilding computers, weekly meetings with former co-workers and family gatherings.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Bernadine; children, Jessica Ramirez, Denise (John) Bush and Rex (Melanie) Cotten; grandchildren, Angela Hildreth, Scott and Kristin Bush and Martina Cotten; great-granddaughter, Brooke Casey; sisters, Marvina Holloway, Naomi Chandler and Mary Jane (Ted) Coppock; brother, Dean (Pinky) Cotten; sister-in-law, Norma Hubbard; brother-in-law, Phil Messamer; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Betty and Phyllis; and his brother, George.
Memorial contributions may be made to Taylor House Hospice.

Bernie, and family.
You have my deepest sympaty. I am so sorry I could not make it to the funeral. I knew he was in hospice but did not know he passed away till Friday night when my brother Tom Turner sent me the obit. I will be thinking about all of you and the pain you are now feeling. I know the pain.

Charles is resting and safe with the Lord! His spirit will always
live in our hearts. He is an inspiration, and this is just a
transition of his eternal journey.
My prayers and love are with Him and his family.
May God give you strength and peace in your heart, so you can
be close to Charles.
