Service Details
Rachael Emmabeth Walton, 7 day old daughter of Charles and Nicole Walton, was born January 5, 2009 and passed away peacefully Monday, January 12, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Altoona United Methodist Church, 602 5th Ave. SW in Altoona. Burial will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington, Iowa.
In addition to her parents, Rachael is survived by her grandparents, Karen and Don Walton of Farmington, Iowa and Norma McQueen of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and her great-grandmother, Emma Homolar of Toledo, Iowa.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2009 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helen K. Rossi Guest House within the University of Iowa Hospital in loving memory of Rachael.

Nicole and Chuck,
I cannot even begin to comprehend the sadness you must be feeling with the loss of your precious Rachael. I hope from my heart, that your pain will decrease, that your spirit will strengthen, and your faith in God will create inner peace.
