Mabel Webb

Mabel M. (Yori) Webb, 91 of Ankeny (Carney) passed away Monday at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial to follow at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Mabel was born in Carney and lived in the area all her life. She worked at Armours Creamery, the Ordnance Plant and Dominic’s Place. She was a member of the VFW 9662. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Bowers of Des Moines, Loren (Jan) Bowers of Carney and a daughter Vicki (John) Gardner of Carney, her step children, Jim (Bert) Webb and Linda (Lonnie) Erb of Goshen, Indiana, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie and Ernesto Yori, and her husband, Bob, sister, Nora, three brothers, Victor, Amos and Joe, and a grandson, Loren Lee Hudson.
Memorial may be made to the family in loving memory of Mabel.
