Mary M. Fry, 90, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Parkridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Pleasant Hill. Mary was born March 29, 1918 in Charleston, Missouri to Clyde and Bertha Ewing.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning. Mary always loved having her grandkids for overnighters and enjoyed being a mother.
She is survived by sons, Gary D. (Barbara) Fry of Huxley, Clyde J.( Patricia) Fry and Darold D. Fry both of Des Moines; a daughter Marlene J. Fry of Des Moines; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death her son Howard Wayne and by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2009 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at the Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center, Iowa. A visitation with family present will be from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Sunday evening January 4, 2009.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in loving memory of Mary.

We are praying for all of Marys family and friends during this time of Grief & loss.
Mattie and I werent blessed to know Mary personally, but we do know her son Gary and were grateful to receive Garys testimony of his moms walk with the Lord and we know what a blessing it is to family and friends to know their loved one is in Heaven enjoying the Mansion the Lord has prepared.
