Jimmie D. Sanders

Jimmie D. Sanders, 73, died Thursday January 1, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday January 5, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Jimmie was born August 2, 1935 in Des Moines to Albert and Virginia Sanders. He enjoyed family barbeques and playing golf.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife Norma; children Michael (Debbie) Sanders and Denise Dare; brother, Don (Pat) Sanders; sisters Nancy (Gene) Wailes, Sue (Bud) Weatherly and Kathy (Rick) Keeney; grandchildren Lisa and Jeff Dare and Jimmie D. Sanders; one great grandchild Kason Bender.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Virginia Sanders.
