Nicholas McLaughlin

Nicholas Keith James McLaughlin, infant son of James and Cynthia McLaughlin passed away on January 1, 2009. Nicholas was born on November 25, 2008 in Des Moines, Iowa. He fought courageously for his life and passed away in Iowa City at The University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
Nicholas is survived by his parents; his sister, Rachel McLaughlin; step-sister, Alyssa; step-brother, Joseph; grandparents, Jackie Aeschliman, C. Mark and Karen McLaughlin; great-grandparents, Madeleine Austin, Lester and Mary Peck; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Frederick Jack Austin; grandparents, Keith Luce, Patrick and Theresa Connors and his best friend Jack Alexander Johanson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa.
