David F. Houp

David Franklin Houp, age 49, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home in Des Moines, Iowa.

David was born July 2, 1969 in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He was formerly of Panora, Iowa and attended Panora-Linden High School. David worked at Cantex Brick and Tile in Redfield, Iowa, and later moved to Texas and worked at a local rock quarry.

He is survived by his daughter, Cyndi Houp of Arkansas; granddaughter, Jaylen and grandson, Zander of Arkansas; siblings, Paula Shroyer (Dennis) of Panora, IA, Anita Hubby of Des Moines, IA, Steve Houp (Lyn) of Coon Rapids, IA, Dee Browning of Des Moines, IA, and Bekay Fields (Kevin) of Des Moines, IA; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Zella Houp; sister, Cindi Houp; and brother, Francis Houp.

There will be no services held at this time.
