Don Brown, Jr.

Donald Kenneth Brown, Jr., 71, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home. He was born December 4, 1947 to Donald and Norma Brown in Des Moines.

Don graduated from Des Moines Tech High School. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Don retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved to golf.

He is survived by his daughter Erika Brown and her fiancé Andrew Glazebrook, son Jason Brown, grandchildren Jack Brown and Ryan Glazebrook, brother Lyle Brown and his wife Andrea, sister Patty Duffy, and his best friend David Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Norma Brown.

Cremation will occur and there will be no formal services held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family.
